Sorry couldn't remember the dates Well we started by going over webCt and blackboard then we went over VMWARE install and options available in vmware. We installed Dabian 5 setup a freeshell account installed fedora and opensuse as VW machines installed VMWARE TOOLS Went over Mail in the freeshell account Installed updates using apt-get, Yum, and zypper Installed SQLITE3 IN FEDORA AND CREATED DIR FOR CLASSLIST Midterm added kde, a second 2 gig hard drive,set file system to ext3,created mount and umount for the drives, also used fstab, installed ssh created vncid in the bashrc file and created vnc start and stop script in the bin and chmod the files to be executable Final cloned freeshell dir with cpio and put on csrh1, created crontab for dmesg and rsync to csrh1
